One of the things Lisbon is most famous for is their brightly colored trams that run throughout the city. From Tram 28 that does the tourist circuit around the city, to the tram that runs out to Belém, the trams in Lisbon are pretty entertaining to ride on. A single-ride ticket for Tram 28 costs €2.85, but if you plan on wandering around the city all day you might be better off paying €5 for a day pass covering all the metros, buses, and trams.
The hostel I stayed at was about halfway up this next hill, so I got to see this tram going back and forth quite frequently.
If you’re ever in Lisbon, make sure to catch a ride on one of the trams, especially if it’s up this hill!

Great photos! I love Lisbon with all my heart! And I immediately liked your blog when I saw you had a photo of Lisbon as a header 🙂
I liked everything about Portugal and I want to go back there soon. Lisbon was awesome, but did you make it down to the Algarve? That was my favorite!
