After our exciting jeep-boat-jeep tour, I, along with my 2 friends from Quebec, arrived in Monteverde. It was quite a bit cooler there than where we had come from because Monteverde is pretty high up in the mountains. As we wandered around the town, we found a restaurant that was built into a treehouse. Yes, I said in a treehouse. Immediately, we decided this was somewhere we had to eat. It was nice place and had good food along with the fresh fruit smoothies we had grown accustomed to for every meal!
