Florence was one of my favorite places I visited in Italy. All of the art, wine, and sunsets made for a great visit.
It’s the art mecca of Italy, with the Uffizi Gallery as well as the Galleria dell’Accademia, which houses the original of Michelangelo’s David. There are actually 3 of these around Florence, although 2 aren’t originals. There is one outside the Uffizi Gallery and one up on the Piazza Michelangelo.

The inside was really beautiful, but what you pay for is the spectacular view from the top. That was one of my favorite things from Florence.
